Many of you may be familiar with repair of structures with the wet layup FRP fabrics. This presentation focuses on a new generation of FRP products that can reduce construction time, improve quality of construction and allow certain repairs that are not possible with the wet layup system. Applications on repair of steel and concrete columns, submerged piles, pipes and culverts will be covered.
This topic will be presented by Mo Ehsani, a Professor Emeritus of Civil Engineering at the University of Arizona where he taught for 28 years. In 1994, he founded QuakeWrap, Inc. an engineering/construction company with offices in the U.S. & Mexico that specializes in repair and retrofit of structures with FRP. The company and
its projects have been recognized by several major awards.
